Been wanting to do maw mores lately... so I did one for
Karlos because I fancy him. And no he's never been in trouble with the police... he's too smart for that.
Slobbery!
Yay I did a wolf! Canines are so annoying difficult for me. On top of that photoshop has developed several extremely aggravating bugs lately which have been making art a chore... and I've got a tonne of projects at the almost finished stage due to the feckin' spikes in pressure sensitivity that are infuriating; to put it mildly.

He's too smart to be in trouble! He'd never be caught if such a thing would happen. :3
This is fabulous Kel; I love the shading and lighting of the whole piece, the fine detail to the fur bristling, the shine on his view able eye, the wetness look of his nose, and I'm floored by how amazing his maw is. It's over and above amazing; if I was ever asked to show an example of what a canine mouth would look like when drawn, this is THE artwork I would point to. I've heard its tricky to work with darker colors and shades, but here, you've nailed it.
With his mouth there's alot to love there. You don't see much of the roof of the mouth generally, usually mawshots aren't from this angle, at least the ones that I can think of. The saliva, and this is one of the tougher things I'm aware of to do, looks lifelike (everything does here) . The way it drips off the roof of his mouth, onto his teeth and lower lip, to the way it breaks off and goes flying off, it adds that extra bit of immersion. His tongue is an inviting velvet ( certainly very wet) carpet!
Flawless execution of a mawshot, Kel. I love this realistic style that Karlos and yourself tend to take with art. <3

Thank you! I used a lot of refs and my own dog... canines have long been my nemesis in art, and Karlos was being neglected. :c But I am really happy with how this came out, and it's a turning point for me definitely.
I think due to how I approach things it is a lot easier for me to do dark/high contrast pieces, plus they're a lot more fun to do; I've had a lot of well-lit ones on the go for a while that are giving me a tonne of trouble. XD But hey, that's how you improve.
Glad you like! ^^p
