Very nice, the mood of the picture is well established and the wolf is splendidly painted. The fur is detailed and proportions all work. The animal is obviously the focus of the piece, and it shows that you like drawing them.
But I'd like to point out a few things that could use more attention the next time around. In an environment that blue the wolf itself seems a little out of place with its grays and browns, as it doesn't seem to be affected by the ambient light around it. The spot of land that it is standing on also would need more attention, as it is it's just a blurry shadow and detracts from the work.
The island further away looks except for the white needles. They're too bright and too large, making the island seem closer than it is, breaking the perspective.
But all in all a great piece, and shows that you know your stuff. I just suggest that you give the background more love the next time around.

hmm, let me see, add a base colour and paint the whole thing in it, then pick some lighter and darker colours with a rather big brush and paint the colo-scheme. Then you rrepeat^^ hang on, I got a tutorial ;3
