Oh and you're right. It's just his arms make the rest of him look thinner, I dunno.
And maybe a better word would be "narrow" and not thin...

It's not that he's not muscular enough, he's just not wide enough. Or well, the arms aren't wide enough. The wrists most noticably so. Geez, I wish there was an art critic around to explain what I mean...

There are still heavy muscle-lines, despite fox himself being drawn so thin. Of course, that's not much of an issue, there are a lot of thinner guys with a startling amount of muscle mass. I think that it's that the muscle bulge is also drawn in a more weightlifter's sort of fashion, rather than a 'lean' swimmer's sort. How often do you see narrow weightlifters? I think that's where the 'too-thin' idea comes from.

Of course, I could be wrong, but that's what I see.
