Beijeye and Adrian technically knew each other. Though not that well. Beijeye had no idea that Adrian was Vilkas's cousin, Adrian had no idea that Beijeye had any connection to his family at all. They met within the last few months before Beijeye died. Adrian hadn't been doing too well in Sylkrey, Cobalt was well-intentioned when he pulled strings to have Adrian put into Sylkrey's military, considering how militant canid society is, it was mostly an attempt to get him accustomed to living there; though Cobalt was ignoring the fact that Adrian is fundamentally a pacifist. Obviously Adrian didn't fare any better there and was constantly getting his ass kicked. Adrian had see Beijeye around and pegged him for being someone who might be a bit of a stoner, too. Beijeye was aware of who Adrian was, at least to some extent, seeing as everyone had heard of the half-human kid who somehow got placed in the military, but unlike most others, was at least wiling to talk to him and not be a total dick about it. They got to be smoke-buddies, and would sneak off together occasionally, but that's about as far as anything went with them.
