From time to time Poseidon's daughter leaves the palace to venture into the farthest reaches of her kingdom, appearing briefly on the surface, observing land-dwellers in their ships, fishing and re-sinking marine resources, yet she is very curious about World.

That's sucks, but I do not blame her she explore some part of the surface only to learn they're habits and traditions and what kind of fun spend when getting boring. What will her father think about it I am sure he will don't accept of her curiosity about the surface.
