Once again, my evil snake wizard is up to no good. This time, he's helping Lois Lane get an appreciation for the life cycle of the sea turtle when she was feeling bored by her job reporting on the sea turtles' egg laying season. Thulssa Yii is helpful like that.

Tried another new thing with this one. Used a grain texture for the sand. Mixed results, IMO; not really bad per say, just not quite as good as I was hoping for. I wanted to try using a layer mask to add a texture to it, but Illustrator handles masks differently from photoshop and it also changed recently, so all the tutorials I can find on it are out of date, leaving me seriously annoyed. On the whole, I'm pleased with this one, though.

incidentally, I think this is one of my favorite designs for this character that somebody else has done for me.
