Whatever the result, it doesn't seem like life on this world has much time left. Can't imagine such a primitive world has a way to prevent its fate when she's finished with them.

Hopefully, Holly just forgets about them once she's done and they just get left alone in a closet somewhere. Unfortunately, she also does like to personally dispose of samples once she's done with them.
