do the colours have any significance or are they just picked at random (I commissioned a graduation pic for my sister for example with the school colours in her gown )
the only yellow in it was actually in the tassel, but for artistic purposes i asked for a little yellow on the gown as well
I personally think every babyfur or fur (for that matter) should have an obligatory graduation pick of their fursona in appropriate school colours (or artistic rendering of their actual graduation gown)
It really brings the person and the character that they are together
it was cause some people wouldn't pay for me to go to college and she thought it was cause they thought i was retarded or something. it wasn't, but of course shes the only one who judges me in that way
But the origins of the pic are for you and those who share in this part of you socially. Not for anyone that would think you are "retarded" for putting it in there or in general. Though Id keep the origin to yourself at the party as that wouldn't be appropriate (unless their all furs of course XD)

in fact the classic graduation robes are based on the style of clothing men wore in medieval Europe.

On a related note, I almost had Yoshies put on my graduation notices. My dad wouldn't have it, so I went with basic invites. However, buried deep in a closet someplace, are the templates for a very Yoshi, High School graduation. Gabby-Gabby-Gaboo! :)
