Handwing thinks of Vilkas as some annoying brat that Beijeye just let bug them for some dumb reason. He hates the way Vilkas followed Beijeye around and idolizes him because he thinks Vilkas didn't really know Beijeye the way he did. Beijeye had a lot of problems that only Handwing knew about, and his demeanor would always shift whenever Vilkas was around; partially out of the fact that he didn't want to trouble a kid with problems he was too young to understand, but also somewhat genuinely. Somehow Handwing doesn't get that helping a ten year old, was a much less stressful way for Beijeye to get his mind off his own problems than trying to help his, even more fucked up, junkie best friend.
