The image depicts Daji (or Dakki) and Zhou, King of Shang(or Chu-o), both are major characters in the famous Chinese novel Investiture of the Gods (or more commonly known as Fengshen Yanyi), the Japanese adaption is Houshin Engi.
Su Daji was a great beauty possessed by the evil nine-tail fox spirit, later became the most favorite concubine of Zhou. Not only famous for her alluring beauty, Daji's also well-known for her cruety which was responsible for eventually bringing ruin to the dynasty. There're lots of stories about her brutality in the novel, but my favorite one is how she ordered Bo Yi Kao minced and made into meatballs, then fed to his father (*o*).
If you're a fan of wars and myths then this novel is perfect!!^^ With lots of gods, demigods, demons...and fantastic field battles as well as battles of wits, it sure does satisfy all my love for wars and adventures^^.

I personally like Daji a lot, despite the fact that she's evil and brutal and stuff but oh well, it's her doings that have brought together all the heroes and ignited the most amazing war ever^^. Besides, apart from Jiang Ziya (Taikoubon), Daji is probadly the smartest and most scheming character, with great mind and leadership that rivals even the immortals...
And I think her liking for human suffering is so cute ^^
