Summary:
Hey, I remember this one... did it a while back, but I can't remember exactly when. Anyway. This took a bit of work; more than my usual 45-minutes gig.
The planet looks a little too prominent to me, but I'm rather pleased with the results overall. I was originally going to call it 'Neptune,' but I couldn't get the dark spot to come out right. So instead, I named it after one of my planets on Spore.
Comments/Questions/Tips welcome! If you want me to post the steps I went through, lemme know. I was smart enough to write them down in my notebook instead of my computer, so I still have them.
Edit: Huh. I just realized this reminds me of the Firefox logo.

you have a point there. Some sort of object, sort of like the Carrionite's prison or a blue version of the object that held Mother of Mine in the Family of Blood episode. Maybe even something entirely different, a power source for an alien cruiser, an all knowing computer bank, you never know with a show like Doctor Who. ^^
