Just randomly decided i'd put a cross guard on a new Gen render sword design and give it a double edge and a tapered tip. It lookspretty good. Oddly after staring at it i realized it partially looked like Genesis's sword from Final Fantasy Crisis Core.
It's likely to be unwieldly but frankly I draw these kinda of things out of boredom or out of inspiration. I'd still like a replica of this sword just to have to show off to my friends.

I personally prefer oriental type swords as opposed to european ones, but you can have too much of a good thing and this design certainly has merit, I do get the feeling that the design of the handle (mostly the fingerguard and pommel) looks a little out of place with the rest of it but it's well designed otherwise.
