I wrote this back in early January, but just never got around to recording it (for various reasons) until now. I thought something silly and lighthearted would be a good way to get back into recording. Though I've got a bit of a rough throat today (had the widows open overnight, and it got a bit cool out), but I'm hoping I can make it work for something, at least.

Regardless, I kind of felt like this seemed to have fallen out of one of those old Disney musicals... The Mary Poppins sort (yes,  titoamor will love the reference). Sooo, there's not much else to be said, here.

A dream isn't something that you will forget,
and you have many more that you haven't had yet.
Yes, a dream is that thought that you have in the night,
with something you love (like puppies?) that's right!

And dreamers are people some just don't believe,
but sometimes it's not too long and they see,
that dreamers are people like everyone else.
Yes, you are a dreamer by being yourself.

And some, they may say that dreamers are fools,
forgetting, of course, that great golden rule.
For if you believe in whatever you feel,
then a dream is just something that soon will be real.

But remember that all aren't as lucky as you,
some have had dreams that have never come true.
So nourish those dreams with all of your heart,
and someday they will become who you are.
