Another concept for one of the secondary characters of the short comic I'm slowly working on. I might still make some other small changes in the future.
His name is Jaresh, and he belongs to a group that fights for the rights and equality of the non-human races, Herimash (cats), Dwarves and Sa'Jiir (lizards). The only problem is this group's violent actions risk to cause some retaliation from human soldiers and common citizens alike, and of course the targets would be innocents non-humans, who have nothing to do with this whole situation.

Jaresh' personality is quite bitter, a consequence of his childhood spent in slavery. He generally dislikes humans (with the exception of the few who fight at his side) because of that reason, and he'd be literally ready to die in order to prevent others from suffering his same fate.
The huge scar on his face is the result of a cruel punishment he received when he tried to run away as a kid. His masters burnt half his face with a firebrand.
