I had this happen with my cat once.

But instead of a huge fucking spider it was a huge fucking /wasp/.

...That cat was a beast.

I'm happier with my current kitty, though. He's a big fat ball of mush.

Though he did try to play with a big centipede he found. I stopped that 'fore he could hurt himself.

Ewww. Don't have a cat anymore, thank goodness..

My cat used to do that all the time. I'd hear this crunching sound and look down and see my cat eating some random large bug. Only... he would eat half of it and leave the rest for me to clean up. >_<

That was your share of the spoils from the hunt.

It's when they get the *roaches* that it bothers me. Although grasshoppers with the heads sucked clean aren't happy either.

Today, my Peach Fuzz brought in a seven odd inch garter snake. ^..^

My cousins had the three general types of cats. They had a scardey cat, a fat cat, and a demon cat. The fat cat actually managed to get a bird one day.

Our fat cat brings home mice and voles and all sorts of stuff almost once a day D:

Cats are natural clowns because they seem so dignified and the funniest thing is that they seem to know it. I once had a black and white who could catch red-winged blackbirds birds out of the air. (Their fault for attacking him, he was on the ground minding his own business.)

Well, we do live where there is an abundance of wildlife. :d right next to a field and a small woodland area.

Aw, NICE! There used to be woods and fields a couple of blocks from where I live, but it's mostly developed now. There are still parks, though and lately we've been seeing foxes! (RL foxes are RL beautiful!)

My cat does this too, to the point where she'll wait next to cracks in the floor/wall for a bug she hears to come out.

Of course, my cat also kills things like giant birds and a woodchuck, so I shouldn't be surprised.

Train your cat to bring home pheasants. 8D Think of the delicious meats.

Now that we've moved she is an inside cat (we live too close to major roads/large dogs now) so that's out of the question.

She did catch a snake in the house though.

My cat once did this with a still-living cicada. For any who don't know, the song of a cicada weighs in at about 90 decibels. She sounded like a little airplane running around with that thing...

I do not have a cat. But I can sympathize with my hunting dog, lolol ;o;

My dad always made fun of our cat Phoebe since she's a little on the festively plump side but when he saw her catch and kill a mole he's grown to really like her.

Merlin would leap athleticly to catch and eat dragonflies when he was a kitten. These days he looks at them as if to say "Meh" and goes back to sleep.

Ah memories. I remember some of my old cats doing that with spiders. They used to give me live or half eaten , chipmunks and moles too.

Funnest part is, when our cat puck has been outside. A few weeks later we'll open some random drawer and find a dead mouse in it :/

Little bastard always leaves half-alive mice inside the house, so they'll crawl into li'l hideyholes for us to find when they've gone to Mousey HEaven >.<
