Really now? I was just getting that feeling when you called the weapon "Moonblade". It looks more like a glaive based weapon, but with a hook instead of a blade at the end. One of the main characters from Bravely Second, Magnolia Arch, uses a glaive in the game as her starting weapon. I suggest playing Bravely Default to know the story of the first game before deciding to play Bravely Second. It's pretty great. And it's for the 3DS.
