Anoobs are my favorite in the Wildlife of Starwars Field Guide and though they don't mention it in the book, I would assume that they would have variations on colors like any animal.

They are desert dwelling creatures from the planet Tatooine so I'd think lighter colors would be more likely to survive. So though the dark ones might be born they would get picked off by other predators because they stick out during the day.

These anoobs are babies, which are typically lighter in color then the adults and have a light colored fuzzy bit to them instead of courser guard-hair like mane down the neck, back and onto the tail. Like baby bird fuzz. Each of these babies will be the color of the baby one darker then them as adults.

There should be an even lighter, basically white one as well and it would be rare in existence just like the lightest one there. The two darkest would not survive, not just from getting eaten by other predators but because they would die of heat exhaustion from their own pelts holding in the heat.

The very rare color, the darker then normal color, if the one I will be using as my own Anoob character which I am working on currently.
