An illustration for my fantasy story. Ballad Quill, the gryphon musician, and his human musical partner Sondrew Hayne, performing in a basement bar. Magical creatures being generally feared in the kingdom of Quintessentia, they perform here in secret. Some of the clientele is cool with Ballad, others are too drunk to know whether or not he's real.
The idea here is that Ballad is getting too big for this venue, both literally and figuratively. Dance is part of their act, but they have no room for it here, and poor Sondrew only has a little corner of stage to stand on. Originally, I was going to show them struggling more with this, but I decided they're professionals, and they'd still put on a good show.
