Whew, been a busy month. Slowly chipping away at my commissions, and got hired onto Cushy which I'm slowly chipping away at. I'm actually down to a reasonable workload now, haha. I'll try to not get so overburdened in the future, wah.
But yeah, how about a YCH?
- Lasts until Thursday at 6:00 central time
- Starts at $80 US for a sketch. If it gets above $225, I'll give it lines and colour
- Any character or gender is fine. The two pics are paired, so you get them both, having the same character in each is recommended

Ah, I was worried this was a bit steep.
Last one was Prelude to Destruction, right? As I recall that was from just before I raised my prices... I was using the frequent YCHs to guage how much people were willing to spend on my pics and used that to help me with that.
I costed this one out as if it were two sketches with backgrounds with my current prices, which is what I did before. But I suppose context has changed a bit, haha.
I don't want to alter information other than clarification on stuff after I post these, so I'll keep that in mind next time.

Idea behind these YCH auctions is that the price tends to be lower than what they tend to go for, which tends to attract a variety of budget hunters looking for a good pic from you, this usually drives the price up to around what it would normally go for wholesale. After that, you usually get a couple of dedicated bidders that really like the idea, and get into a bid war with each other, which is where the really high margin of profit tends to come from.
Honestly, I think 40 bucks for both of these is a pretty good place to start off, if only because it will be much more likely to increase in no time. I'd have set color around 160, but 120 or 100 may have more likely chance at getting an insta-buy.

I absolutely love these YCH themes you've been doing lately, particularly this one! I would really love to put an offer down, but the initial price is a bit high for me right now. I will, however, spread the word! I know plenty of people who would love to grab this. Either way, can't wait to see the end product!
