and also for the snake...you're not supposed to feed him live food! GRRRRRR
you're gonna if he gets bit by a brave rat pup and stops eating permanently. (PS feed him arctic mice. they're at least put down humaenly with gas, rat pups' heads are bashed in brutally until they stop moving, sometimes it takes a few tries). trust me, I don't know who told you that snakes have some preference to rat or mouse, but they weren't right. snakes have no idea what the difference is. Listen to Brit, she's been a snake expert and worked in vets offices for nine years. She knows what she's talking about.

Actually, you have no idea what you are talking about.
Some snakes such as boas, and especially green tree boas, can and WILL lose interest in non living prey.
Unless you are a breeder, or have talked to breeders, please, do not spread misinformation.
Being a vet does NOT mean you or whoever brit is, (I'm assuming that is you) you are a snake expert. A herpetologist is a snake expert, not a vet. Kaythanks.

Uh no, first of all, I don't speak in third person. Brit IS a snake specialist. She has been for about 14 years now. She has ALSO worked in vets' offices. Second of all you're just confirming what I said. Feed him non living prey. So yeah, you're agreeing with me, so how do I have no idea what I'm talking about?
