This is a little idea I got from
nishi
Isn't it funny how in video games and movies we seldom, if ever, get to know or understand the parents behind the characters we know and love? I mean, in Zelda, Link's parents typically are already dead and buried by the time we meet our fearless hero and there really seems to be no thought about them what-so-ever.
Taking this into consideration, I have created Yosh-E-O the Bi-O. :) It's nothing huge, but it presents a fun little history behind my character that I do hope you find fun and amusing to read. If you like it, perhaps you may wish to develop a fun background of this nature for your character(s) as well. After all, it's fun to think about where you might've come from and how it could've lead into making you into what you are.

Hehe, I remember talking about this sorta thing with you. :D
It's neat how it could get you to give your character a little background story too! :3
And even if the parents had a hard time since cultures can be weird about who gets involved with who, at least they were manage to maintain an environment good enough for their new child. :3 He turned out to be a fun and deep story teller! :B

I'm glad you liked the idea. Now, at least it can be said that my character does have parents who loved him, nurtured him, and, most importantly, are not dead. :) Yay!
This was a super fun project to do, because it was quick and, well, I thought made for an excellent Submission 150. Gabby-Gabby-Gaboo!

hehe, it is always good to know about your family background. :) Seems to be a typical view when it comes to being who we are (I mean as furries), and much like Yosh's parents, we are ostracized and ridiculed for being different by family and friends. Truth be told though, that many times, when it comes down to things we are still most often loved by our close friends and family. Its just tough being different, but that's what makes us the special critters we are. :)
You are so very right, Scooter. Having grown up different for my blindness in RL, I figured it only fitting I at least run with something similar with my character. After all, it's that "difference" that made me who I am and, I'd think, would make Yosh the Bard who he became. :)
I love writing. ;)
I love writing. ;)
To be honest, I sort of winged mine as I wrote it. :) However, I found as I did, it all made sense. After all, how else could you get a Yoshi with a duck beak than by breeding a Yoshi and a Duck? :)
If you should experiment with the idea, do know I will be most excited to read whatever you come up with. It will no doubt be very creative and fun to review.
On another note, as you mentioned and I forgot to touch on, I am always looking forward to that next page in your comic. No matter how long it takes, I know it will be an interesting next segment in the on-going battle for survival. Keep up the great work all around. :)

Kazootles! Well, as they say, "All good things take time." Should you / as you continue to work on it, I'm sure you'll not only give us loyal viewers a great story, but develop your amazing art skills further with each passing page.
Keep up the great work! No matter what you do, it's always worth a view to see just how good you got since the last one. Plus they're always cute, too. *Hugs* :)

I'm glad you liked the idea. Figured I would make Submission 150 something fun and exciting. Oxnard got me thinking of origins and parents and, well, here it is.
Should you ever write a journal, or do a piccie or write-up, for your character, know I will be excited to read it. It's always cool to see what depth and fun lies behind our special selves. Yup, yup!

I can do that with you if you'd like. Just send me a PM and we'll get the ball rolling. Please note, though, that I may be a bit slow in response as my wife and son are home now and my PC time is limited between being with them and looking for work. *shrug* *cush-cush* *cush-cush*
