An odd, magical type of creature that the essence of their energy and soul is contained within the crystals that grow within it's body and protrude. The more crystals and larger in size show greater life energy compared to those with smaller crystal growths. Feed on the minerals within their habitats.
Impurities in the crystals are a sign of illness and can make the usually docile creature quite hostile.
Main features are mostly similar to those of rodents and bats.

Average/Common features - 4 crystal eyes, crystal horn[s] and protruding crystals on the back of the body and other locations. Typically very fluffy but it isnt uncommon for those to have none to very little fur (more crystals can be seen on the body of these) There are other differences within the species as well (such as more than 4 eyes, broken/cracked or unformed crystals, horn and "scythe" variations...etc.
