Everyone knows what the NS Savannah is right? The Nuclear Ship Savannah, not the Steam Ship Savannah (which the NS Savannah is named after).
Its parked in Baltimore, and I was just told they do tours once a year, on Maritime day, which was today. This is part of the main control console, the red thing in the middle is the core, the two blue triangles are the steam generators. State of the art in 1960, and apparently not all that archaic today.
So now I have 8 rolls of 120 to process. That may be the most 120 I've ever shot in a single day.

The guy giving the tour was on the crew, so he had some really cool stories. He said it was mostly pneumatic. He did not like electronics, its difficult to measure (you have to use a meter) and its hard to work around when it malfunctions. The electronics were all vacuum tube too, and really not all that big. The reactor safety stuff was three or four full height racks.
