I've been here before

Tiny doodle of my dog who passed a couple years ago, Jack.

I've never had a connection like the one I had with this guy. I felt like we had very similar personalities, and we both had a silent understanding of each other.

He wasn't a childhood pet. He came into my life on his own, during his older years. His previous owner was staying with me for a couple months, and when she left, he refused to go with her. She had asked me if I could keep him, and I agreed. He was already passed ten when he came into my life, so I only had him during his final few.

I will always miss this guy.
