Now to the Nucleic level, where we see just the nucleus of the copper (which would technically be copper 29+ if it lost all it's electrons... which it wouldn't but oh well). The nucleus is made up of two subatomic particles, protons and neutrons. There are a bunch of both of these but besides this nothing really interesting happens here. They both have mass, protons have a charge, neutrons don't and they both have a spin of 3/2.
