yup! I am an A&P mechanic, technically I have about 1/2 of my pilots license but I sadly stay ground side for now

now there is a beautiful sight - reminds me of Rich International

years ago I was in Alaska - I almost stayed. there have been times in my life where I wished that I had.

You stay for the summers and question your sanity in the winters haha. Definitely a unique place to live but I love it, especially because it means I get to get my paws dirty with these old birds :)

where in Alaska did you visit if you dont mind my asking?

almost as south as you can go... I work at Miami/Opa Locka airport. We do have two cargo outfits there who fly DC'3's and Convairs...

Our company only works the business jets...
