Scruff lies against her in front of her sleeping with teddy tucked between thier front hooves. Falls bright blue eyes shine with confusion. Both are covered in dirt blood and cuts. Behind them the window shows out to a cloudy night sky as the light of the stars shines through it onto the little ponies.

So this is part of the alternate Fallen Angel universe? It definitely seems like Ms. Powder Puff and crew have not changed their vile ways for far too long.
This type of image makes me remember how children are always filled with hope. Scruff is not fully aware of the situation that Fall is all too aware of. Perhaps Scruff's young enthusiasm can help renew Fall's resolve?

Ya This Is the alt here there's kind of a stand still in place of all our stories at the orphanage, fall becomes colder and harder with time growing into a pretty emo teenager never making a friend before scruff having not know friendship through pint and bucky she ignores softy and gallery when they come and go. She learns to be tough to get bullied less but I'm doing so is mostly becoming a bully herself, though she won't hurt the foals. Scruff really confuses her when it comes. Like her it only has one object to remember it's family, teddy, but remember is a loose word for scruff who's lost most of its memories. It seems to innocent for her to even know how to treat it. The other foals make fun of it but she ends up taking it under her tiny wing kinda like a pet, which is exactly how she sees it she doesn't trust ponies but animals she does so seeing scruff as an animal helps her to treat it better. She ends up teaching it the orphanage rules and helping it to not get in trouble and do what's needed of it.
Now that is interesting. Fall is so traumatized that the only way she'll take to Scruff is if she sees her as a pet. something to be cared for but not like other ponies who have made her feel as she does in this universe.
It's amazing how much of a difference a life event can make in one's life. Pint and Bucky helped Fall escape this fate. However them not ever being at the right place at the right time would result in this outcome. Definitely makes you think. :)

Ya this version of fall would need a lot to get her to accept ponies again but this confused three year old who barely knows even the most basic of concepts walks and talks like no other pony she's ever met and is kind to her, seems far more like a pet than a pony to fallen, and scruff likes it that way
Ya if pint had taken a different path that day they met this would be the outcome
There is one problem I still need to flesh out of where a certain other pony is in this story but I won't post about that publically
