this deserves some serious complimentation. The big question on my mind is whether or not your actually doing this large project soely for yourself or for a client, or maybe for yourself with the intentions of making some mint by pitching and selling it... I beg you, do not leave me wondering.
Aside from the question, I have comments and observations. It seems as if all the people leaving comments so far have a complete lack of appreciation for how much EFFORT can go into something like this, let alone a FULL GAME version. All the programing and assets one must create and then tie in together, its overwhleming at times. I like how the background doesnt seem to be repetative like most other flash games, an enormous pan shot of intricat and intravaneous technology. I also really like how varied the enemies are and how many different weapons your ship is eqiuped with.
I am definately looking forward to the full version. Good luck with it.

Thanks a lot for the compliment! I’m making this game more as a hobby than anything else. Not selling it, making any money off of it, or making it for anyone.
(I did get a few emails about sponsorship.. won’t do it.)
The full game will have 10 unique stages/locations each with new non-repeating backgrounds (I wanted to avoid doing that what you mentioned) and little objectives for the player to accomplish, like a little mini-games. (Help those in need! Put out the fires to gain health and points!, etc..)
Currently I’m on stage 3 and spent over 5 months on this game. 7 more to go…
Thanks again for the compliment! Though, you give me way too much credit. =P

Wow! This is awesome! Lacks a bit of music, well, just a demo, but definitely great! (The music already in is very good though). And this thing runs on this piece of crap hardware I have here as well :D (PIV Celeron 2GHz 256Mb 266MHz DDR RAM, 32Mb Matrox G400, certainly not today's dream rig ).
I tried the draggy, i like how smooth is his animation, and well, the whole thing works perfect. Maybe only one thing: the weapon with the yellow beam makes the game much slower for some reason than usual. I resorted to kill off both bosses with bombs for this (Well, the crap I played it on is certainly a crap, but maybe the slowness is just some minor bug here since otherwise the game worked fine from start to end). I also love how the backround is alive, that things happen, sometimes that's a bit scary, but certainly spices the thing up a lot.
Great space shooter with great artwork included, can't wait for the full version! :3
