I started to learn a bit of Maya, I only know the very basic but the software seem fun and complex. I decided to make this ship as an assignment in the course I was taking, it isn't a very complex model, but it was challenging to make as I was using the software to model something for the first time.

The GC1 Ascension is a concept ship I've been drawing since a while for a webcomic project I'm currently working with the help of  cron12

The webcomic itself should be available to read at the end of this year or early 2018, and it will be a further-in-the-future spin-off for the Project Prime webcomic series,
