One questions I have been asked in the past is how Viola breathes underwater. She doesn't have any gills, so what is her method? This question along with a couple other things makes me want to make her a new reference.
The way she breathes underwater is by literally filling her lungs with water. They can process the oxygen out of water and air. Just not super efficient at either of them. Think of having a form of asthma where if she does strenuous activity for too long she will be short of breath.

Now, I hear you asking, what happens when she gets out of the water? She has lungs full of fluid! Well, she basically vomits it up. More of a cough/blarg then hurling. But you get the idea.

For all of you that think she is really hot... Imagine every time she gets out of the water THIS happens.
