Well, they technically can't call it a "sandwich" at a Renaissance Faire and stay in-period; the cook of the Earl of Sandwich didn't create the meat-bread combination until the 1700s. (Contrary to the usual story of keeping grease off the playing cards, John Montagu, 4th Earl of Sandwish, had so many commitments it was more likely to keep grease off of important papers at his desk.)

Good to see Podge in the flesh. Looks like he's eating well.
