Call me the biggest sissy in the world, but I remember as a kid that when watching a horror monster flick that my imagination would get the best of me and my mind began to wander in the direction that, "What's scary in front of you isn't as scary as what could possibly be behind you..."
Anyone ever have that feeling when watching a horror movie? ... Maybe not... society and its people these days are alot harder to scare and it's not so much for the thrill of it anymore, but as a commodity... a shame really. Because to feel THAT level of fear is a rare thing-- and most the time, we're so jaded in trying to remember how @#$*ing scared you possibly could be.
Mark my words I'm FAR from done with this thing but I was curious how far this was coming along and I'm fairly happy (if not somewhat terrified, as I'm not used next to NEVER having done something like this before!) in how it's coming up...
I'll be honest, while working on this there are moments I'm like "FFFFFUUUU--!" and then I have to change the layers to calm the picture down because it's gotten that intimidating to look at.
I'll get into the details of why I've wanted to get into this piece, but until then... just another WIP to hit the scraps when the final comes along.
(Pssst, this piece is fun to work on while playing Michael Jackson's Thriller! Go figure huh...)

Now this.. This is amazing.
You're constantly surprising me with your creative ideas. It's like your head overflows with them.
You've brought in your wonderful expressions again, but this time with a new twist. On demons and other monsters with deformed faces.
I knew you could pull this off. The glow of the television and the lightning just fits this picture. You've got such a haunting qualitiy to your picture which isn't something you normally do, but you were able to do it. Anybody can try and draw a scary monster, but you've been able to draw these demons truly frightening and sneaking up on the two. This, Arthur, is fantastic.

Jinkies, as Velma from "Scooby Doo" might say. ^_^
That's the first thing that came to my mind when I saw this one. Then I remember certain Halloween nights, early in life, when my local TV station would show horror movies all night long. Of course, they weren't as wild and insane as they are now, but a LOT of spooky stuff came out of the 1970s, you can believe it. ^_^
Kudos on yet another amazing creation, Arthur. ^_^
