I know, I know, not the best picture ever.. but I had a serious need to express. I drew this listening to "Heaven's Not Enough," from Wolf's Rain.
This is a character seldom seen anymore. Fenris is my first feral wolf character, thus my first "fursona," though I didn't think of her that way at the time. She's a black wolf, golden eyes, with a metallic golden cross on her forehead. She's always been my "tragedy" character, the one who takes the brunt of my depression through roleplay. She lives in a bitter paradise, a beautiful forest with lakes, waterfalls, streams, plenty of food. However, the emotional trauma taken from her dysfunctional pack is far from ideal, making her depair and wish for sunnier days. She's stuck as the beta wolf of this elite pack of magical, ethereal wolves, and she knows if she weren't around, the pack would break and the mortal wolves would be godless. She sacrifices her life for the good of them, but not without the cost of painful tears for spiritual ease.
