As the quest of the solemn Leonin continued he grew from a rising star of change to a vigilant light that now will stand watch over his brothers and sisters and all those who deserve his protection.
Alright, this is the first time I redrew one of my Planeswalkers and for the first try I picked Ceos, who was also my first custom made Planeswalker.
Those are his previous pic and card:

While redrawing him I tried to repeat certain things I also drew in the first pic. Those are partly general things like the lighting or details like the purple flowers.
I'm wokring on this card, but so far I didn't managed to put his abilities together in a fitting way, so it might take one or two days for the card to be uploaded.

For some reason I get a Rakshasa vibe; and this isn't a bad thing. Seeing one that's broken away from what they are as a whole to someone like this who's a protector?
It's bleedin' brilliant.
Of course that could be me overthinking things again. A great picture regardless of overthought, and I like the contrasting of black against the rest of it :)

No problem. I'll admit I'm not a massive M:tG fan -- that's my BF's department, but I do appreciate the artwork and i think I could get into the backstory of it all if it's laid out well.
Besides -- worlds where it's more than humans being the summoners of every other race? Awesome :)

Ah I see I see, but if you both enjoy it a little at least that's great already in my opinions. PLus theartwoks are an important part of it as well^^
(Btw Theros, where Ceos is from, was a world with a very Greek setting)
And yeah humans are just one of many species MtG has to offer, and that's also something I really enjoy about it.
