Ornithopter Concept
Ahhh, I think inspirations are coming back to me I guess. Thank you too the comments that uplifts me up, the music I heard while streaming in the internet cafe, and movies that I've watched in these rough times.
But this one, I give you the concept I came up with while I'm walking down the streets while listening to my new downloaded music to my old phone.
For me, I think this one can be possible with the right amount of weight, the right scale of the wings, and the amount of force to flap the wings at a needed speed.
Do you think this is possible? Let me know in the comments below.
I hope you like it^v^

Wont work.
First issue is the wing span is WAY to short. When you double your weight you need to increase the area of the wings by 8 fold.
Second issue is how is the air to go from the top of the wing to the bottom of the wings? A birds feathers allows air to pass through on the up stroke and to prevent the air to pass through on the down stroke. Your wings are solid they don't let the air to flow from the top though them to the bottom.
Third issue is the pistons do not have the distance of travel to really give you enough distance to really flap the wings for a really good power stroke.
Now if you want to say this is just a fantasy machine you can just ignore things like real world physics.

I do understand.
But the thing to said that the wings are solid, actually, the wing has composed of skeletal structure just like a hang glider, and the skin was durable plastic.
Also, the design shown in this drawing was a concept, so the engine's case will not look like that. The engine was connected to the shaft which flaps the wings VIA clutch. And I think the wings will be slightly larger.
Do you think it will worked this way? Hehe

There are two ways to obtain flight.
The first is to fly slow and have a very large surface area to create lift. This would be a glider.
This will give you an idea how big the wings would have to be http://forum.flitetest.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=3995&d=1335710754&thumb=1
The next would be powered flight. The more thrust you have and the faster you fly the smaller the wings would need to be. If you have enough thrust you can dispense with the wings entirely aka a rocket.
A glider and powered flight can be mixed but what ever you are using for thrust will be hampered by the drag the large wings will create. The larger your thrust the more drag the wings will create until the wings are torn free from the glider. Powered gliding is a very delicate mix of thrust to gliding.
In my first post I really did not want to burst your bubble but flapping wings are just so inefficient that is why it was abandoned long ago in real world history. A propeller or jet/rocket is far more efficient. I am not trying to discourage you I do like your idea. It is a cool looking fantasy invention.
