Omigosh! When I saw this, I cried! Ruby and I look so adorable, like this! I miss my Ruby, so very much.... but, I just got a new little Rattie Girl, that reminds me very much of Ruby. She's a 6 week old, White Double Rex, Fancy Rat, with the curly fur and curly whiskers. She even has the Ruby eyes, like Ruby's. I named her Lacey Joy. She is so darling, and so mellow, just like Ruby was, when I first got her, nearly 7 years ago. I even slept with her, in my bed, and she didn't move for 2 hours! She was so good, while I napped! She curled up, in the space between my head and my shoulder, while I rested my head on the pillow. She didn't even make a potty mess! She's like a Ruby Junior! Hahahaha! I love this little Rattie Girl! Ruby was the best friend, and the closest thing I ever had to having a real daughter. I loved her with an intensity that I have never experienced before, or since. And I know, that if she could have spoken to me, with words, she would have said this very thing: "I love you, Mama!"
