In CARC & 'SLIDE, there's a scene where Carc receives the shield from 'Slide and tries to throw it. I have a replica of Captain America's shield, and for someone my height and with short arms, it's nearly impossible for me to throw the shield. In the spirit of "art imitates life", when Carc throws the shield, it goes maybe ten feet. While 'Slide and others giggle or laugh, he hands it back to 'Slide and says "How didja make it work?" 'Slide, who has big metallic arms, easily throws the shield into a tree replies "Strength and practice." There'll be a scene late at night when some see Carc out in the back yard practicing.
Carc's like Captain America. Unlike most of his teammates, he's not empowered. So he goes into these self-improvement binges. Also, due to his career as a pro wrestler and "career" as a trainer/adventurer, he knows all sorts of ways to cheat. He does gain an ability later on, but for now his talent is an uncanny "find weakness" that makes even Batman grimace.
One upcoming scene is that he and 'Slide have an encounter with the "anti-'Slide", Locomotive Breath, a big cybernetic metallic ram (akin to my character Ironclad). The ONLY saving grace is that he took our heroes on in 'Slide's junkyard. Carc incapacitated Loco with an electromagnet.
I want to include a scene that I saw in Grimjack. Hostage situation, Grimjack swings his sword. Villain says Grimjack missed. Grimjack uncorks that smile and says "Shake your head and see".
Question: do you have an "inventory" of powered characters?

In the future, there'll be something of a Ragnarok in Carc & 'Slide, our heroes and heroines fighting the forces of an invading evil. Outside of Savage Squirrel and Atomic Mouse (I won't mention a particular super-team I used to ink), I didn't know of any other costumed adventurers that weren't "funny animals".
If you and Train are interested, your characters could appear in Carc & 'Slide during the armageddon as there'll be plenty for all.

In a normal fight, Carc carries the shield, a pair of .45s (given to him by Savage Squirrel), a sawed-off 8 gauge shotgun, ammo, a variety of blades (including throwing cards), a can of lighter fluid (which has gotten him out of many a squeak), grenades, and many little pocket stuffers in his webbelt. Carc has something of a Boy Scout/Batman complex.
'Slide is a walking PX. If you've ever seen the "Pierrot Le Fou" episode of "Cowboy Bebop", when Pierrot snaps open his coat and reveals all that weaponry, THAT'S 'Slide.

They are thieves. So gold and platinum are high up there of things to steal. Plus that belt has high tech gadgets and other things in it that those two can use. Yes they would swipe such a thing.
Those two are wanted from all around the world.
Nathan and Maurice Grey are the kind of thieves that are just as much perverts. They steal heroines panties along with money and other stuff of value.

And don't forget, the belt also has her Golden Lasso attached to it. The Golden Lasso is VERY valuable, although it only works in the paws/hooves/hands of females.
They could take it like they did in "Revenge of the Fly" and let their sister Dotty use it on her and others. Needless to say, LL's utility belt (and all the stuff on it) is VERY valuable.
