Yeah it's a book. Scott McCloud is the author, a notorious innovator in the "what comics are" field. Hence all the reinventing in his book title. The cartooning community at large seems to have a lot of respect for him. Not me though, I once drew him sitting on a toilet straining.

I don't know WHY the pea part makes me laugh so very very much but it *does* and so obviously THIS is just perfect. The third panel with the flipping out is so dead-on. Hahahaha!!! And Xander looks cute as Rimmer! How is that possible!? ;)

On a more serious note: omg your comic style...*melts* It's so playful & scribbly yet PROFESSIONAL looking - I love the lines + the font. You really have to do more of these, even if it is just redrawing jokes from Red Dwarf etc STARRING US because omgggg!!

Geek Mode.

Its the ep where Holly invents the HollyHop drive. Its supposed to get them back to Earth in seconds but Holly messes up his calculations, due to number blindspots, and lands them in a mirror universe where there is an identical RedDwarf, but the genders are swapped.
