You want fast service? Use a self checkout, then you can go as fast as you can manage. Otherwise, shut the hell up about waiting.

That's how I see it, and I've never even worked in retail. People just don't understand that not everyone operates as fast as they do.

I work in a Wal-Mart as a floor sales girl but I was a cashier the first two years I worked there. Believe I understand this.

I had someone once return a briefcase when I worked as a cashier, I told him due too the nature of the item, once it was unpacked it could not be returned, he threw it over the counter and walked off saying "fuck this"

One less customer? Fantastic! Now if I could get rid of the rest of the general public, then I can have peace and quiet for the rest of the day... And then I get replaced by some high tech computer, and my position is no longer needed. ^___^;;

I know this feel so much!
People seem to think you have to care about the company, when the company only even knows your name because they have to sign your paycheck.
