Henry: *smiling halfheartedly* I'm trying.

I don't normally ask questions but... I gotta know, How do you like having a tail??

Henry: *shifting uncomfortably* I can't say that it is my favorite thing. Honestly, I'm still getting used to it. It's better than my hooves though, I guess.

So how sensitive is this lie detector. Does it have to be an actual lie?

Henry: *crossly* It's pretty sensitive. I found out that sarcasm counts as a lie with this curse.

Don't your animal parts feel good?

Henry: *ears swiveling backward* I wouldn't say that they feel good... some parts are helpful, but I'd prefer the way I used to be.

Henry: *knitting his eyebrows together* Donkey, I guess. I don't think Lottie would like me being female... or a pig... She probably won't care for me being a donkey either, but she probably thinks I'm an ass anyway.

Henry: *flatly* I refuse to give Moth the satisfaction.

Henry: You are probably right. Though, I can't bring myself to do that. To give myself to her would mean losing my wife forever. I won't do that. Even if it means that I'll be stuck as a donkey for the rest of my life.

Henry: *slumping* That's just it, I don't know. But I have to at least try, don't I? If nothing else, I want to apologize for what I've done.

Henry: *ears falling* Yeah.

Henry: *spine stiffens in surprise at first, but returns the hug*

You need to be sent to a fat farm and have all the ladies ask if the clothing that they are wearing makes them look thin.

Henry: *ears swiveling backwards* The worst thing about this is that I can't make a properly sarcastic comment about it.

Henry: *ear twitching forward* I'm going to have to be careful around you.

Henry: *flatly* Uh huh.

Acrathia: Well Henry from observing the past conversations, I have to admit I am impressed. You beginning to resist the urge to lie, and give sarcastic underhanded comments. *Looks at his tail* and not a moment too soon. A few more lies, and you wont have to worry about that new hole in you pants, or pants at all for that matter.

Henry: *ears twitching backward* Yeah. I'm still a little worried. I'm pretty deep into this mess and if I slip up just one more time, who knows how bad this will be?

Acrathia: True it seems to effect you in varying degrees. A tail could be considered minor compared to the others. A tail can be easily hidden underneath clothing, you could even argue that the ears could be hidden under a hat, but hooves, a snout, fur. These are much more obvious.

Henry: It's true. *blushes and drops his gaze* Though, I'm finding it hard to get my tail properly hidden without help tucking it in. I guess where we're heading, it doesn't really matter what I look like.

Acrathia: *flatly* No. I can assure you there are far more outlandish things that a man with donkey features in the Sidhe. *chuckles to herself* in fact when you can argue that most fae have at least heard of someone very similar. This will be to your benefit though, there are far more important things for you to worry about than how others perceive you.

Henry: *ears perking* Jiminy has mentioned a certain donkey-headed man. I think we might try to talk to him soon. Did you ever meet him?
I'm finding that to be the case more and more, hard as it is for me to accept. I just hope that Lottie's perception of me doesn't change too much. Of course, she probably hates my guts right now, but she always found me attractive before. Now... I don't know.

Acrathia: *smirks with a bit of a laugh* I have met him just recently in fact. If you can get him sober long enough he might just be able to give you some coherent answers. It appeared as though fame and romance didn't quite agree with him.

What you described may actually help in your endeavor to stop lying. When Lottie sees you again your own form will be an indicator of how much you have changed. The more you have changed physically the less you have changed emotionally. Retain as much of your humanity as you can to show her you are atleast making an effort

Henry: *deflating* Great. I hope we can at least get some intel out of him.

*lifting his hooves to his face* It might already be too late for me, if that's the case. I mean, look at me. I'm less than halfway human.

Acrathia: And how far gone were you when she left?

Henry: *frowning* The ears were fully changed and my fingers had started turning black. A lot has happened since then.

Henry: *unhappily* I suppose that is the best I can try for at this point.

Acrathia: NO! *slams a staff on a table that both just appeared out of nowhere* Enough of the half hearted 'I suppose I can try' nonsense! If you maintain that attitude, you are destined to fail! If you go in determined to change your wife will see it, and will react accordingly! * points her staff at Henry* No tell me Henry are you ready to change?!

Henry: Hey, whoa! *cowering behind the table and holding up his hooves defensively* Easy, lady! I'm trying my best here. You want me to be more chipper? Fine! Just don't go piling more spells on me. The one I've got is plenty!

Acrathia: *looks confused at Henry then looks at her staff* Oh... No this wasn't to curse you...I was attempting to rally you to change your attitude... Not change you literally. *sigh* I keep forgetting motivating people is not my forte.

Henry: *cautiously standing again* Damn, you scared me.

Acrathia: hmmm... Too intense? I was going for a rallying call, but I guess I came across as 'I'm going to curse.you if you don't do what I say.' Regardless I already said I won't curse you. *smirks with a devious smile* I'm nothing if not true to my word.

Henry: *frowns at the irony* I may not be rallied, but I admit I'm petty enough to want to improve enough to wipe that smirk off your face.

Acrathia: I don't usually encourage spite as a motivation for change, but by all means darling wipe the smirk of my face. Show me that you are more than what I thought of you on our first meeting. Validate my new found faith in you.

Henry: *straightening, looking every bit the stubborn ass that he is* I will.

Acrathia: Don't tell me, prove it!

Henry: *ears twitching backward* Alright, alright. *calling out of frame and wandering off in that direction* Louis? Are you packed yet?
