Up for sale is one of my handmade creature sculptures - this time you get to customize your very own epic dragon!

This particular fellow age-worn dragon has plenty of personality. He also has 17 horns in total, gnarly teeth, scaly skin, fleshy details like ragged jowls and a rather grouchy demeanor. His jaws gape open in a roar (or perhaps just a disinterested yawn?) and a pointed tongue curls forth from his maw. He has been entirely hand-sculpted on an intact American mink skull (naturally deceased) using polymer clay and 90 percent of the work was done with nothing but my fingers. The finished pendant is 3 inches in length and just under 3 inches across the horns.

He will be painted by hand in your choice of colors using my homemade paint mixes and given all the bells and whistles, like drool effects and 'fire glow' in the back of the mouth. The teeth will be stained for a properly (ahem) dirty look. If you look through my gallery you'll see several examples of my painted creatures to give you an idea of what I can do. I can also paint him to resemble a famous dragon of literature or film, or paint him like your own dragon character.

Purchase will include your choice of chain and clasp, which will be drilled into the back of the pendant so you can securely wear your personalized monster anywhere: fan convention, Halloween, grocery store, dinner at grandma's...
