No, that one is still standing. I haven't been there since the second fire, but other photos suggest it's still standing!

How to you figure on focus-point?

The only real focal point in this shot was the house. The sky can always be focused via infinity, so I aimed for one spot on the house and went with that. Also, shooting at f/8 is a little more lenient with focus, which is why most of my night photography is shot there, or narrower.

I was just expecting that with how dar I was expecting it to be that you'd have a hard time judging how to get your focus; I get annoyed that I don;t have lenses on my 30D with focus marks... unlike my Minolta SR-t 101... (*Freekin' TANK that it is!*)
