BUT ITS TOO LATE TO GO BACK NOW. ITS ALREADY SET IN STONE ... IN THE GAME.
Just got pokemon SUPER mystery dungeon and I've been having lots of fun with it! Definitely the best Mystery dungeon they've come out with thus far!!!
So, with the little personality test in the beginning where usually I get Cyndaquill, I got Snivy (which is coincidentally my favourite grass starter tied with turtwig :'D)! My partner was then assigned as Torchic and although I'm not a particular fan of torchic as a pokemon I don't like to re-do the quizzes to get a pokemon i like more x) (even though in this game you can choose the pokemon if you don't like it!)
SO. I'm a snivy and Torchic was named Daniel (Couch's actual name) AND SO WE HAVE MADE UP TEAM MAURAUDER. GOING ON ADVENTURES MIS-SPELLING SHIT EVERYWHERE.
Now that I think about it; I am pretty positive couch would be a Squirtle/wartortle if he were a pokemon starter.LOL. Sunglasses, coolness and memes for fucking days. Too legit to quit.

You can change the name of your team in the game.
I love the gameplay of Super Mystery Dungeon far more to the others, but I still like Explorers of Time/Darkness/Sky's story far more.
I hope you enjoy it anyway! I'm going to have a hard time to go back to Explorers of Sky anyway because Super fixes a lot of my gameplay gripes of EoS ;.;
I mean, Super's story isn't bad. But... I think you'll see what I mean when you get there.

Well, I like how they deal with the evolution in this, I feel like it's less a "Well, the last game didn't allow you do".
If there's one thing I like more, is even if the story isn't as good (imo) the characters are what shine through. They are less just people with speech patterns and more pokemon with actual character to them, with or without those goofy traits.
