I got a zillion things to do and a million stories in backlog and yet my brain is currently stuck on a plot-line dealing with a hive of flatworms.
Basic story line: hive trying to create a symbiotic relationship with a city of humans as a way of NOT getting exterminated by said humans. And the humans trying to exploit the hive for their own purposes.
Did I mention that they are parasites in their larval stage that incubate inside of mammals, including people, eating them out from the inside? It's actually more absorbing than eating, but hey, outcome's pretty close to the same, right?
