...Sodanglier is a lot less habitable. On the surface anyway. The Volkssturm managed to get a number of underground cities from the planet's terraforming days up and running before the planet was turned into a barren, post-nuclear war, winter/autumn tundra. There are also some remnants of the old world in the various mega city undergrounds around the place. Most of the cities shown in this version of the map are ruins, but they do have people living there - just not as many as before.

Yeah, some of my characters will hate me for this... But from the outset I did intend for their world to be a post nuclear setting.

In hind sight, I may have been better off writing the story after the end, rather than making it an apocalypse how story. But I can always set the next CU story a couple of decades after 'the end'. :P
