So I've been kicking around the idea of making a Furry Ambassadors page on F.A. and on a monthly basis recognizing someone who has contributed to the furry fandom by either protects furries, promotes prosperity, or works for peace. Those who are recognized would get the ability to display a Furry Ambassador logo on their page, and perhaps I could do a print of buttons for real life meetings? I have a short list of furs I would like to recognize right off the bat, and would hope to get recommendations of candidates to also be reviewed for the furry ambassador program. Please, if you see this, give me feed back as to if this is a direction in which I should move forward or not.

I personally like the idea but it would be tough to get it off the ground and make it as recognised as say,

But, if you did manage to get it going, I'd totally support it. It would be quite heartwarming for a lot of people to see that there are some people actually trying to make a difference!

Now the beauty of the Furry Ambassador program is that this is to celebrate the people who have worked hard to improve the furry community, possibly by helping dispel myths and misconceptions about the stigmatization of the furry fandom. When researching on how to dispel the stigmatization, surprisingly, a lot of parallels came from the LGBT community and their efforts to be accepted by the mainstream by overcoming similar stigmatization.
