Our story begins on the final day of the war between Ashur and the Talwyn Nation. Lauren, Isabelle, Rowan, and Bennett discuss their status as the Ashurian fleet approaches the Tower.

Well, it always works on Star Trek...
Silliness aside, this is a very interesting page, and I like how it drops us right into the middle of a very tense situation but does so in such a way that, while the whole of the situation is still a mystery, you're not totally lost. I have a feeling that even someone who has never read any of the other stories or comics could come in here and make sense of it all. Granted, the dialog is fairly non-specific, but that feels like a point in its favor. I really like how each person is introduced in each panel as they speak, and the rather wide variety of emotions that each one displays. Somehow, I had a feeling that Isabelle would be the one to really get angry in a scenario like this. I suspect she's not going to give up the station too easily, either.

I'm sure this is entirely unintended, but the aircraft in the second panel make me think of giant, mechanical penguins. But that's actually kinda neat!
Love the expressions in each of the panels, esp. how angry Isabelle looks at the idea of being defenseless and, as someone else said, the look on Lauren's face in the penultimate panel that just says "Not this crap again!" Love the little intros for each character as they react to the threat, too. That's a really clever way to do things, and the artist has done a great job with bringing your characters to life!

Hehe. I hadn't really any idea what their ships would look like though I more or less let the artist do that one. I imagine their capital ships look different, but this works for the current purposes. ;)
That's always the tricky part of the introduction, establishing everyone quickly and efficiently. This seemed like the best way to do it with the amount of space I had, plus it helps to show off everyone in the group fairly well. :) I'm definitely fortunate to have found such a great artist to work with.
