Thought I'd commission myself for a full body badge, hehe! =) Actually, I've had this sketched and waiting to be colored since I graduated, and thought I'd take a small break from commissions to do this for myself. What do you guys think of my new wing design? Been leaning away from a naturalistic pattern to something more bold for her.
I hope to make a fully updated reference sheet with new art someday, then you'll see both sides of her wings. Someday I'd love to make references for all my characters, many yet to be seen in my gallery.

I really like this a lot--the wings are very natural looking, and remind me of moth wings. They're not those stereotypical "angel wings" you see on some furry art. I really love the handpaws--the pad on the palm is so hard to draw! I also especially love the natural looking figure with its little bit of tummy pudge. The expression and angle of the head are really nice too--it's a hopeful, content expression, looking towards the future. It's very nice. Great job!! :3 Then again, not like you need to be told you do a great job--it's your own character after all, heh. She's so cute.
Aw, thank you! Yeah, I've been kind of moving towards a chunky simplistic style for Nymph and other characters. Plus my tummy looks like that, so now she's like me more. =3
I also like your description of the face angle, it made me smile! I'm glad it came across that way, it sounds really nice. =)

This design reminds me of some birds I've seen around my house :) They land in the grass and look for food, but every few steps they hold out their wings, like they are trying to scare predators with the markings on their wings! They are blackish/grey with bold white patterns on their wings. It's really pretty.
I love how 3D Wolf Nymph looks in this :) The shadows are done just right ;D I can't wait to see the new design you have going for her! I'd help you if i could xD haha

I've searched and searched for the bird, but all I can figure is it's a Brown Thrasher, which makes sense since it's Georgia's state bird and I live in Georgia xD But I really don't know for sure.

I can't find a picture with the underside of it's wings though! And I can't get close enough to the birds here to see if they are really a brown thrasher or not... :/
