So the idea behind this character is that she's the typical 'raised by wolves' sort. She lives as part of a wolf-pack, who she affectionately refers to as her brothers and sisters. I didn't draw her with it, but she actually wears the pelt of her 'mother' who was the shewolf who found her as a toddler (around 3-4 y/o when she was taken in by the wolves). The pelt is incredibly important to her, symbolizes her connection to the pack and also mimics them in a way, it makes her feel closer to the pack by being able to wear the skin of her mother, whom she refers to as Lupa.
Covered in a number of scars from playing rough and hunting, her hair would be matted and disgusting if not for the almost reverent care she took of it, often running her fingers through it and using vines to pull it away from her face. The shorter hair that fell in front of her ears was bound with beads to help keep it from flapping back up into her eyes when she was hunting.
I've entertained a few ideas, one of which being that at some point she meets a sorcerer/sorceress who curses/blesses her to turn into a wolf during the night, but return to her human form in the day, so essentially an archaic form of werewolf. So at some point I'll probably be designing her a feral wolf form.
