Refreshing an old character!
Silny is a demon that used to be a human. In his old life, he was an orphaned boy who took in a strange merchant when nobody else in his village would. On the merchant's travels, he eventually returned to the village and found that the townspeople crippled the boy for helping him.

The merchant, actually a powerful demon, used black magic to remold the boy's soul and form, making him a demon, too. The merchant gifted him with a new body and a new name, Silny, for his strength, and the boy's been happy as his traveling companion ever since.
